Consultative Session on Pharm-D Curriculum Review
The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Government of Pakistan, organized a two-day Consultative Session on Pharm-D Curriculum Review on 29–30 April 2025 at Islamabad Hotel, Islamabad. The session brought together relevant experts and stakeholders from pharmacy education and professional practice to review and discuss the draft Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) curriculum. The consultation was part of PCP’s curriculum-review process initiated following the Higher Education Commission’s revised draft and the constitution of a PCP Steering Committee for detailed review. The discussions focused on reviewing the curriculum across pharmacy disciplines, incorporating expert input, and strengthening pharmacy education in Pakistan. PCP had planned to share the reviewed draft with HEC by the end of April 2025 for further processing.
