Second (2nd) Online Meeting of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan Grievances Committee Held

Islamabad | 27 October 2026

The 2nd online meeting of the Grievances Committee of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) was held on 27 October 2026 at 6:00 PM through an online meeting platform.

During the meeting, the complaints received through the official PCP website were discussed threadbare. After detailed deliberation, it was decided that the Council will formally communicate the relevant complaints to the respective institutions and seek their written responses and clarifications within the prescribed timeframe.

The responses received from the institutions will subsequently be placed before the Grievances Committee for further review and deliberation. Where deemed necessary, matters requiring further consideration will be placed before the PCP for appropriate deliberation and decision in accordance with the applicable rules, regulations, and standards.

The Committee reaffirmed the commitment of PCP to ensuring that all institutions imparting pharmacy education conduct their academic and administrative affairs professionally, transparently, and in accordance with the standards and requirements prescribed by the Council.

The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan further reiterated that no genuine complaint or concern raised by a student, institution, faculty member, or general public should remain unaddressed. The Council will continue to strengthen its grievance-redressal mechanism to ensure timely, fair, and transparent resolution of complaints while safeguarding the interests of students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
