Program Objectives
The Pharm.D program prepares a health-caring, community-oriented pharmacist competent to deal with health and pharmaceutical problems using appropriate technology and holistic approach. Graduates are eligible to practice pharmacy upon completion.
Core Competencies
- Conduct patient interviews and take drug histories
- Monitor prescriptions for drug interactions and adverse reactions
- Dispensation of drugs
- Supervise procurement, storage and drug delivery systems
- Act as Secretary/member of Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee

Program Objectives
The Category B course prepares health-caring, community-oriented personnel competent to deal with common health problems under the guidance and supervision of a qualified graduate pharmacist.
Core Competencies
- Assist pharmacists in compounding and dispensing pharmaceutical preparations
- Assist in filling, packing, and labeling of dispensed medicaments
- Assist in supply and storage of drugs, surgical, and medical items
- Maintain inventory records with emphasis on quantities and expiries

Punjab Pharmacy Council
Punjab Pharmacy Council, established under Pharmacy Act 1967 as amended in 1973, with the crystal clear objective to regulate the practice of pharmacy. The Secretary Health Government of the Punjab acts as President (Ex-officio) while the secretary, bears the office of Punjab Pharmacy Council to execute and exercise all the legislative functions (Section-23 of the Pharmacy Act, 1967).
Sindh Pharmacy Council
Sindh Pharmacy Council (SPC) is an Autonomous Statuary body functioning under Federal Legislation. It is a Statutory Body functioning under the Pharmacy Act 1967 to maintain the high Standards of Pharmacy Education. It deals with the Regulation of Profession and Practice of Pharmacy through Advancing and Assuring Quality in Pharmacy Education. The Secretary Health, Government of Sindh, acts as President (Ex-officio) of the Council. The Secretary of the Council, bears the office of Sindh Pharmacy Council to execute and exercise all the legislative functions (Section-23 of the Pharmacy Act, 1967).
KP Pharmacy Council
KPPC is performing its functions under Pharmacy Act, 1967 and providing support to the Pharmacists/ Pharmacy technicians who wish to pursue their careers aboard being a centralized body. Moreover, it is solely responsible for the quality of education being imparted by the Pharmacy institutions.
